Leadership Team for Community & Race Relations
The Leadership Team for Community and Race Relations is a broad base of community volunteers, appointed by the Mayor of Lake Charles, Louisiana, who dedicate their time, talents and skills to breaking down racial, cultural, and religious barriers within the City of Lake Charles and its surrounding communities.
MISSION STATEMENT
With a commitment to understanding and appreciating the value of diversity, the mission of the Leadership Team for Community and Race Relations (including all committees) is to develop and implement programs, events and activities and to produce materials in the community that have significant impact on promoting racial equality, respect and harmony among all members in the City of Lake Charles and its surrounding communities.
