Team Green of SWLA
Team Green of Southwest Louisiana is a Mayor's Commission whose mission is to develop and sponsor projects which will enhance the appearance and quality of the environment in Southwest Louisiana. Team Green of SWLA is an affiliate of
Keep America Beautiful and
Keep Louisiana Beautiful and participates in the annual
Great American Clean-up. The group is made up of citizens appointed by the mayor to serve on a voluntary basis.
Team Green meets on the second Monday of each month at noon on the 10th floor of
City Hall.

Green Station Drop-Off Centers
Green Station No. 1 - 4331 E. Broad Street-8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri, and Sat (Closed on Wed & Sun)
Green Station No. 2 - Nelson Ball Field-Alma Lane-8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.,Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, and Sat
AMERIMEX
2120 Highway 14 (located behind the Union Pacific yard)
Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Items accepted at Green Station Drop-Off Centers and Amerimex: Aluminum & tin cans (bagged), paper/cardboard boxes, computer paper, bills, envelopes, Magazines, newspapers, shredded paper, Plastics #1 & #2 containers, old cell phones, used ink & laser jet cartridges (contact Team Green for a list of accepted cartridges), and used motor oil-at Green Station No. 1 only.
