Bicycle Registration

Registering bicycles deters theft and helps locate the bicycle owner in case of loss. All bicycles operating on the street, alleys, sidewalks, or roadways -including private property- in the city limits must be properly registered,
according to section 5-16 of the city's code of ordinances.
 
Bicycle owners must bring the completed registration form to the Department of Recreation & Parks office. There is a $1.00 registration fee per bicycle. For more information, contact the Dept. of Rec. & Parks office at 491-1280.
