This project includes the cold planning and 2 inch overlay of Weaver Rd. to near the intersection of West Sale Road and also includes the cold planning and overlay of West McNeese Street from its intersection with Weaver Road to its intersection with Nelson Road.

Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG)

          The City of Lake Charles was awarded $715,000 by the Department of Energy. The purpose of the EECBG is to assist
          eligible entities in creating and implementing strategies to: 
          reduce fossil emissions in a manner that is environmentally sustainable
          and reduce the total energy use of the eligible entities.
Enterprise (South) I-10 to Broad Street Sidewalk Repavement Project-Completed
The City's stimulus formula funds of $230,510 under the Recovery and Reinvestment ACT (ARRA) will be used to repave the east side walks on Enterprise Blvd. between I-10
and Broad Street. The cost of the project is $400,000 with the City's Captial fund budget providing the balance of $169,490.
