Community Development

The Community Development Division offers a variety of programs that contribute to neighborhood revitalization within the City of Lake Charles.
 
The division receives Community Development Block Grant and HOME Investment Partnership Program funding through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), in order to benefit low and moderate-income residents.

  • Affordable Housing Subsidy for first-time Homebuyers
  • Assistance for Down Payment/Closing Costs for first-time Homebuyers
