City of Lake Charles, Louisiana

As a part of the revitalization of the downtown and the development of its lakefront properties, the City of Lake Charles issued a Request for Proposals June 8, 2010 to seek proposals from private hotel developers to plan, finance, build and operate a high quality waterfront convention/conference hotel, consisting of 250 plus rooms, preferably chain affiliated, and having the full compliment of Class-A rooms, appurtenant meeting facilities, culinary and entertainment accommodations with an associated parking garage.
