The bridge over Pithon Coulee, LA 385 (Ryan Street) just south of Clarence Street in Lake Charles, will be closed beginning Monday, July 11, 2011.
Signs will be posted along Ryan Street and message boards will be in place advising traffic on I-10 and I-210 in advance of the Ryan Street exits both East and West Bound of the closure. Motorists are encouraged to detour around the work area by utilizing 7th, Hodges and Clarence Streets during this time.
Two lanes are scheduled to re-open by the end of August, 2011.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work zone and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
