Santa Claus is Coming to Millennium Park!

Santa and a few of his elves will be making a special visit to the children's playground at Millennium Park on Friday, December 23 at noon.   Mayor Roach sent a special request to Santa asking, as a special treat for the children of Southwest Louisiana, that he be there and that the park would be ready for play during the Christmas holidays.   

Santa will be visiting the park from noon until 1 p.m.  Immediately following Santa's visit, Millennium Park will remain open for a special preview of the park until 5 p.m. For the remainder of the Christmas holidays the playground will be open every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., except Christmas Day, December 25, when the park will be closed.

After the holidays, the park will be open daily but will be subject to temporary closures necessitated by construction on Phase 2 of the park. A formal grand opening of the park will be scheduled for later in the spring.

The public is encouraged to come by and visit Santa at Millennium Park!
