Beginning Wednesday, May 14, and continuing each Wednesday in May, the City of Lake Charles Community Services Department is teaming up with the Lake Charles Yacht Club to host Winds-Day Night Watch Parties on I-10 North Beach.
 
The public is invited to come out and watch the Lake Charles Yacht Club’s weekly sailboat races. Gates will open each week at 5:30 pm and the races begin at 6 pm.
Popcorn and refreshments will be provided as well as bleachers for seating. Personal beach chairs and blankets are encouraged, but glass is prohibited.
