City and LSU Ag Center to Co-host “Let’s Eat for the Health of It”

 

During March, the City of Lake Charles Recreation and Parks Department and the LSU Ag Center will co-host “Let’s Eat for the Health of It,” four one hour classes addressing how to eat better for less, keep food safe to eat, plan meals and shop wisely, eat and exercise for better health, and more.

 

The free event will be held at the Willie McCullor Landry Center (formerly Drew Park Recreation Center), 416 Dr. Michael DeBakey Dr., and the class schedule will be: each class, 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., on Monday, March 2; Friday, March 6; Monday, March 9; and Friday, March 13.  The classes will be presented by Bernadine Thomas of the LSU Ag Center.
