The City of Lake Charles, Louisiana

Residential jobs exceeding fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) in cost shall be permitted by a contractor licensed by the State of Louisiana.  This is a "State Law."  All contractors shall deposit with the city a contractors bond in the principle sum of seven thousand five hundred dollars ($7,500) on City of Lake Charles bond form and furnish a certificate of public liability insurance in the minimum amount of one hundred thousand ($100,000).  The City of Lake Charles is to be listed as certificate holder.
