Each year, thousands of computers, monitors, printers, TVs, cell phones and other electronics are discarded.  Such “e-waste” contains recyclable materials and can be hazardous if disposed with regular garbage.  To reduce the amounts of “e-waste” that is disposed of each day, Keep Greater Lake Charles Beautiful-Team Green has partnered with CITGO to hold the annual E-Recycle Day.  This day is usually held in March of each year and alternates between Lake Charles (McNeese Football Stadium Parking Lot) and Sulphur (Stine’s – Highway 27 South).  Citizens can bring all types of electronics, no matter the age, to be recycled.  E-Recycle is open from 8 am - noon.
