The City of Lake Charles and Calcasieu Parish Library are gearing up for Christmas with a special Partners in Parks Christmas Ornament Workshop on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, from 9 a.m. – noon at Historic City Hall (1001 Ryan St.).      
This workshop is sure to get attendees in the Christmas spirit as all the supplies needed to make festive holiday ornaments will be available. Hot chocolate, balloon art, and arts and crafts for the entire family will also be a part of this workshop.
The Christmas Ornament Workshop is being held in conjunction with the monthly Meet Me at the Market event. Art vendors, music, the Charlestown Farmers Market and Holiday Train rides will all make this a not-to-miss event.
The workshop is free and open to the public to attend, while supplies last.
