Garbage Pickup Day Changing for Some City Locations

Beginning on Monday, March 5, there will be garbage and trash route changes in select locations. A small portion of Tuesday's, Thursday's and Friday's routes will be affected.

A portion of the Chennault area will be moved from Tuesday's to Monday's route, a portion of the Greenwich Terrace area south to Sugarloaf Dr. will be moved from Thursday's to Tuesday's route, and a portion of the Holly Hill area will be moved from Friday's to Thursday's route.

Residences affected will receive notification of their garbage and trash pickup day change by letter and a "Notice of Service Change" sticker on their garbage can.

The purpose of the garbage route change is to redistribute the can count in the most effective way to help facilitate trash and garbage collection throughout the City.
