The City of Lake Charles, Louisiana

Beginning Wednesday, April 11 through Friday, April 13, and in conjunction with the installation of new cross-ties by Union Pacific, the following is a list of the dates, times and locations of temporary road closures and suggested alternate routes:

• Wednesday, April 11, (originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 10), 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Bank St., just south of 12^th St., and alternated routes of Kirkman St. to the west of Bank St. and Enterprise Blvd. to the east of Bank St.;
• Wednesday, April 11, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 1^st Ave., just south of 12^th St., and alternate routes of Enterprise Blvd. to the west of 1^st Ave. and 2^nd Ave. to the east of 1^st Ave.;
• Thursday, April 12, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 2^nd Ave., just south of 12^th St., and alternate routes of 1^st Ave. to the west of 2^nd Ave. and 3^rd Ave. to the east of 2^nd Ave.; and
• Thursday, April 12, (originally scheduled for Friday, April 13), 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.,  3^rd Ave., just south of 12^th St., and alternate routes of 2^nd Ave. to the west of 3^rd Ave. and 4^th Ave. to the east of 3^rd Ave.; and,
• Friday, April 13, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Kirkman St., just south of 12^th St., and alternate routes of Moss St. to the west of Kirkman St., and Bank St. to the east of Kirkman St.

The new cross ties will improve vehicular travel across the railroad track.
