THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY

GARBAGE AND TRASH COLLECTION

The City of Lake Charles will observe the Thanksgiving Holiday on Thursday, November 22, 2012. There WILL NOT be any trash or garbage picked up on that day. Changes in trash and garbage pickup are as follows:

  • Trash and garbage regularly scheduled for pickup on Thursday will be rescheduled for pickup on Friday, November 23, 2012.
  • Trash and garbage regularly scheduled for pickup on Friday will be rescheduled for Saturday, November 24, 2012.

All other services of the Department of Public Works and other City departments will also close on Thursday, November 22, 2012 and Friday, November 23, 2012 in observance of this Holiday but will resume regular working hours on Monday, November 26, 2012.
