Recreation & Parks to Host CEU Class on Fighting Diabetes Through Recreation

The City of Lake Charles Recreation & Parks Department is sponsoring a CEU class in District 11-Lake Charles on Wednesday, September 23, from 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. The class is free to the public and will be held at the Purple Heart Gym, located at 4305 Avenue H, in Lake Charles.

Karen DeMourelle, RN, MN, CDE Diabetes Education Director for Lake Charles Memorial Main Campus and Moss Memorial Hospital will speak. A certified fitness instructor will also lead and exercise session.
