Due to unforeseen weather, the planned water outage, which was scheduled for today, will be rescheduled for Tuesday, July 19  from approximately 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Domestic water services for Lake Charles neighborhoods located off of Lake Street between Heather Street and Oxford Court will be affected.

The purpose of the temporary interruption in service is to allow the City of Lake Charles Water Division to upgrade the water distribution system in the area. 

Areas affected by the water outage will include Lake Street south from Heather Street to Oxford Court, Becky Lane, Archwood Street, Hampton Court, Oxford Court, Trinity Street, Chelsea Avenue, North and South Worthington Drive, North and South Yorkshire Circle, Worthington Boulevard, Richmond Circle, Remington Lane and Middlebrook Circle.
