Lock Park playground, located at the intersection of Ryan and 7th Streets, will be closed Tuesday, December 13 for up to seven days, so that improvements to the playground may be installed. Lock Park playground is scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, December 20. The Park (with the exception of the playground area) will remain open with its regular hours,  8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Improvements to the playground, including a play area for toddlers, are made possible by an endowment fund at the Community Foundation of SWLA. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for Tuesday, December 20 at 11 a.m.
