Route 1 Detour effective

Effective Wednesday, July 5 route 1 will make a route detour to allow for the construction on 5th Avenue.

The bus will proceed on the normal route and turn left on Mc Neese off of Louisiana Ave then proceed to 5th Ave and turn left to stop at the Whispering
Pines Location, it will then proceed to Mc Neese Street and turn right to complete the remainder of the route.

Temporarily until 5th Ave construction is complete this bus will not make the stops at Fairview Elementary, Vista and Havens Apts., Old VA Clinic and Emerald Point Apts.
Fairview Elementary will be temporarily suspended since there is no roadway available to turn the bus around. Passengers to this destination will need to ride route 4 and disembark at Mark Dodge on Hwy 14.

Route 4 Detour effective

Effective Wednesday, July 5, route 4 will make a route detour to allow for the construction on 5th Ave.

The bus will proceed on the normal route and when arriving on 5th Ave south it will service the locations at the Old VA Clinic, Emerald Point Apts., and the Vistas and Havens Apts. Then proceed to the route on Hwy 14 as normal.

Fairview Elementary will be temporarily suspended since there is no roadway available to turn the bus around. Passengers to this destination will need to ride route 4 and disembark at Mark Dodge on Hwy 14.
