Mayor Nic Hunter and the Community Advisement and Assessment Board will host a Community Meetings for the residents of District F and District G.

The meeting for residents of District F will take place on Thursday, September 14, at 6 p.m. at F.K. White Middle School (1000 E. McNeese St.).

The meeting for residents of District G will take place on Thursday, October 5, at 6 p.m. at the Prien Lake Park Harbor’s Edge Pavilion (3100 W. Prien Lake Rd.).

These meetings follow community meetings recently held in Districts A through E. Meetings have been held in each of the city’s districts since July and have provided valuable insight to Mayor Hunter, the advisory board and city staff.

“The Community Advisement and Assessment Board is made up of a diverse group of talented individuals who I’ve asked to provide input on unifying our city, from north to south and east to west,” said Mayor Hunter. “The first step to developing a plan for this is to meet with community members from each district so we can develop a better understanding of the strengths of each part of our community, while identifying weaknesses and working together to find ways to overcome them for the betterment of all of Lake Charles.”
