Neighborhood Meetings Planned for Land-Use Evaluation
The City of Lake Charles will host neighborhood meetings next week in an effort to gather public feedback on land-use, planning and zoning ordinances.
The meetings will be facilitated by the City’s contracted consultant Kendig Keast Collaborative and will be held in north, central and south Lake Charles.
The public is encouraged to attend these meetings and provide feedback as the City works to update policies that guide and govern the City’s physical and economic development.
Each meeting will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. and the dates and locations are as follows:
Tuesday, March 12: MLK Center, 2009 N. Simmons St.
Wednesday, March 13: Prien Lake Park Harbor’s Edge Pavilion, 3700 W. Prien Lake Rd.
Thursday, March 14: Oak Park Middle School, 2200 Oak Park Blvd.
