he City of Lake Charles Partners in Parks Initiative and CHRISTUS Ochsner Health Southwestern Louisiana are teaming up for a Community Health Fair on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 10 a.m. – noon. This free event will take place at Drew Park, 416 Dr. Michael DeBakey Dr.

 

Families are invited to join CHRISTUS Ochsner Health Southwestern Louisiana associates for CPR education, blood pressure screenings, cessation education, genetic testing and more. Other partners joining in on the healthy fun include the Children’s Miracle Network, Families for Inclusion, Healthy Blue and Acadian Ambulance.

 

Additional activities fit for the entire family to enjoy include tours of the Acadian Ambulance unit, coloring sheets, rides on Chuck the Train, bingo and a selfie station. The event will conclude with a community walk around Drew Park’s walking trail.
