On Saturday, May 10, 2025, the City of Lake Charles Partners in Parks Initiative will host Paws in the Park from 10 am to noon at Bark du Lac Dog Park (111 West Pine St.).
Hosted in partnership with Gill Bright Animal Hospital, The Dog Stop and Lake Charles Coca Cola, this free event is all about tail-wagging fun for the entire family. Participants will have the opportunity to play games with their dog, learn more about how to keep them healthy and happy this summer and even snap a few fun photos.
Calcasieu Parish Animal Services will also be on hand with dogs available for adoption.
