On Thursday, July 10, at 8:30 a.m., a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be held to celebrate the completed installation of the aerospace-themed playground at Mary Belle Williams Park (1600 Knapp St.).
In conjunction with the ceremony, a Northrop Grumman STEM Day in the Park will be held from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This free-to-the-public event will feature hands-on activities centered around learning more about aviation, including painting on canvas, painting wooden airplanes, and more. Free hot dogs, hamburgers, French fries and funnel cakes will be available while supplies last.
