Team Green and Waste Management are teaming up on Tuesday, August 19, to offer an interactive workshop geared toward putting waste in its place! From 5:30 – 6:30 pm, at Drew Park (416 Dr. DeBakey Dr.) representatives will share insights on what actually during the recycling process.
Waste Management experts will be available to answer all your questions, from the moment you drop your recyclables into the bin to their journey through the recycling machinery and eventual transformation into new products.
Attendees can bring small amounts of plastic and paper to recycle on-site. Plus, children will receive free coloring books made from recycled materials, and everyone can enjoy a complimentary sno-cone to top off the evening!
