Skatember Rolls Back into Lake Charles with Four Themed Nights
The City of Lake Charles is rolling into fall as the Recreation and Parks Department gears up for the return of Skatember.
Four themed evenings are planned throughout September. Each event, except for the first, will take place inside the Lake Charles Event Center Coliseum (900 Lakeshore Drive).
Admission is $5 for the Sept. 9, 14 and 23 events. Attendees age 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
The Outdoor Family Night on Sept. 5 features free admission and will be held on the Gill Street extension, located on the Lake Charles Event Center grounds adjacent to Millennium Park. For this event only, non-motorized scooters will be allowed.
Concessions will be available for purchase, and KBYS will broadcast and provide music for each event.
