On Saturday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to noon, the City of Lake Charles Mayor’s Armed Forces Commission, in partnership with the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs, will host a Veterans Outreach Event inside the Lake Charles Event Center Coliseum (900 Lakeshore Dr.).
This event is free and open to all Southwest Louisiana veterans and their families and will feature more than 75 vendors offering services tailored to veterans, including federal, state, nonprofit, and private sector organizations.
Event sponsors include the City of Lake Charles, The Johnson Firm, Port of Lake Charles, Neurosurgery Consultants, Cascio Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics, Optimum, Acadian Ambulance Service, Chick-fil-A and  CHRISTUS/Ochsner.
