On Friday, Dec 12, 2025, Lake Charles Police Department’s in-person records service will be suspended temporarily.

This service suspension is to allow for personnel and equipment to be moved to the newly reconstructed Investigations Bureau located at 1028 Enterprise Blvd.

Individuals will still be able to request certain records online at www.cityoflakecharles.com/police.

On Monday, Dec. 15, 2025, in-person records service will resume with normal business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8 am – 3:30 pm, at 1028 Enterprise Blvd.
