The Movies with the Mayor Series is set to make a holiday season return on Saturday, Dec. 20, at Rosa Hart Theatre, 900 Lakeshore Dr.
Presented by Children’s Miracle Network, the afternoon will get underway with Cookies, Cocoa and More at 4 p.m. on the Second Floor Mezzanine.
The feature presentation, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, will begin at 5 p.m. in the theatre.
As part of Cookies, Cocoa and More, a hot cocoa bar with all the fixings will be provided by The Village Coffeehouse, and Albertsons, a Children’s Miracle Network partner, is providing cookies for the event.
JD Bank will be bringing a few special helpers who will be available for photos and SWLA Santa will be making a special appearance!
A reading nook from the Calcasieu Parish Public Library, a coloring station from Families for Inclusion, an activity station from The Pediatric Center, and books from JD Bank and Eloise Huber will make this a must-attend event. A selfie station will even be available thanks to the CHRISTUS Ochsner SWLA Foundation!
Movies with the Mayor and Cookies, Cocoa and More are free and open to the public.
Concessions will be available for purchase during the feature presentation. An adult must accompany all minors.
