The City of Lake Charles is grooving into the New Year with Groove with the City dance lessons, and due to the popular demand, an additional night of lessons has been added.
Slip on your dancing shoes for another night of free dance lessons on Tuesday, Jan. 27, from 5:30–7:30 p.m., at the Donald Ray Stevens Community Center at Goosport Park (1619 Cessford St.).
Join instructor Harold Guillory as he teaches the basics of a variety of dance styles including swing out, zydeco and line dancing.
Participants are encouraged to bring a towel and water bottle.
