The Lake Charles Event Center is announcing another major live concert event with nationally known, popular Country sensation, multi-PLATINUM artist Riley Green planning a live concert on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Lake Charles Event Center. 

This is on the heels of the sold-out Parker McCollum concert in April 2024, and booked, upcoming live performances by Whiskey Meyers on October 31, and Eli Young Band this December. 

Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday, September 27. 

Riley Green has been a Country music success since releasing his self-titled EP in 2018, including No. 1 PLATINUM hit “There was this Girl,” and 3X-PLATINUM-certified “I Wish Grandpa Never Died.” Green was named Academy of Country Music’s 2020 New Male Artist of the Year and is set to release his newest album this October. 

“News of Riley Green’s upcoming concert at the Lake Charles Event Center represents the fourth national touring artist to be booked at the venue in recent months. We are thrilled to see the community’s excitement over this resurgence of major concert events at the Lake Charles Event Center,” said Lake Charles Mayor Nic Hunter. “It has been decades since we’ve seen this amount of activity at the Lake Charles Event Center, and we are thrilled to see this momentum continue!”
