Riverside Park
A unique Louisiana experience that ensures the conservation and restoration of native wildlife, this 210-acre park creates opportunities for human activity through the use of nature trails, fishing piers, pavilions, playground amenities, improved boat launch and other areas for community involvement.
Located on the west end of Fitzenreiter Road along the Calcasieu River, Riverside Park features an amphitheater, boat launch, picnic pavilion and plenty of fishing areas. The park includes an area of wooded wetlands that serves as an educational opportunity for local students.
Riverside Park was among a group of bond projects approved by voters in 2006.
